Randomness that is our lives...

When you look through your pictures it is funny the ones that you find that didn't seem to make it on your blog...YET!!!

Well here you go!

The kids had a sick and stayed home with Goose. I come home to this. Goose said that Tenley had found my head bands and put one on. And of course...true to form...Miles needed one too! Goose said Miles was trying as hard as he could to get it on, so as a Daddy that loves his son Goose helped him.

Tenley is trying on her Daddy's toboggan & posing for the camera.
Now she is trying on Mommy's hat. This happened at different times, that is what I think is so funny.
Miles is getting some Daddy time! When I look at this, I picture Miles is thinking "I love my daddy!"
Tenley loves balloons, and when we finally told her she could play with Ian's after his party, she was THRILLED!!!
Miles loves his little car! He really enjoys going for a stroll after riding bikes.
Playing with the toys at Grampa's & Grandnanna's is always more fun than the toys at home.
Tenley on the other hand had played herself out before we got to their house. Grampa jumped at the chance to cuddle with her. Look at her face, I don't think I have ever been that relaxed.

Poor little Ian!! I don't think he got to ride in his car by himself the whole weekend. But he shared so well, Cara & Beau should be so proud.

Don't be fooled...Miles wasn't letting Ian ride by himself. He was just stretching his legs and then getting back on. Notice how Miles is hanging on to the steering wheel, making sure that Ian doesn't drive off without him!
Having a little visit after the party.
Such a happy little man! He gives the best smiles.
This is my favorite of the whole blog!

Another "Things got quiet...go check on Tenley moment!"

When I went to check, this is what I discovered...Tenley in Miles' clothing!!! Folks...I can't make this stuff up!!!! Even the shirt is his. She was so proud of herself(note the smile on her face!). While you're looking, get a look at that hair due!

Really...someone tell me what I did for laughs before I had Tenley to fill in the dull moments?

Valentine's 2008

Aren't we cute!!!

If you read Alanna's blog then you know that we doubled for Valentine's Day. We went out to eat and watched a movie. Only we didn't actually watch the whole movie. After 30 or so minutes, it was clear the guys were feeling tortured and Alanna & I weren't impressed. When the movie failed we went for ice cream. We thought it was a great trade.

Other than the movie flop, we had a great time! It is definitely something we want to do again.

Exercise? Anyone?

You know how some people love to exercise? I mean they look forward to it. It is a main part of their day. I am NOT one of those people!!! Which I am sure comes as a shock to all of you.

I have to make time to exercise. As you can guess with Goose, the kids, cooking, cleaning, a full time job, showers, eating, and sleeping I tend to find excuses to not exercise. After the first of the year Goose and I talked about exercise and how it is hard to find the time. I mentioned that I would rather ride bikes than walk.

Next thing I know...

Not only the bike, but he took care of the kids situation as well! (Isn't it funny how my flower pot looks like a basket on the front of my bike?)

Don't they look so cute, and ready for a ride! They both really like riding in their trailer. Tenley talks and points out everything we pass. Miles likes taking a little nap.
I have been really surprised by how much I enjoy riding. That is right I said enjoy!

As soon as the kids and I get home. I change clothes, grab two sip cups for the kids and toy a piece, maybe a snack and we head out to meet Goose at the dairy. He rides with us if he is off.
