Haaaallelujahhhhh! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!!!

Miles achieved a huge accomplishment this week...he IS POTTY TRAINED!!!! I am so proud of him. He got to go to school this week in big boy underwear and he didn't have any accidents(they even left the underwear on during nap time). He was so proud that he got to wear them as soon as we walked in he found his teacher and told her "um big boy!"

Enough is Enough!

Some of you might have noticed from this picture that Tenley has a red ouchie on her temple.
Well...
Miles and Tenley were playing in the back room and I heard them start to fuss. Tenley was aggravating him(I know...it seems so out of character for her). He kept telling her to STOP! But like all kids she would just do it one more time and then one more time, seeing just how far she could "push" him.

So, like a good Momma I put my dirty dishes aside and headed back there to mediate the situation. I got there just in time to witness him take off his hard hat and clock her right up side the head.

This is where I'm probably not such a good Momma. I admit I was laughing a little(on the inside, of course). On one hand, Yay Miles for sticking up for yourself. Yet on the other, bad Miles, we don't hit...especially with a hard hat!

Needless to say...boo boos were kissed, and noses were put in time out! Just another day in the life of this Stansell clan.

2010 Mother/Daughter Tea

The Saturday before Mother's Day the girls and I attended a "Mother/Daughter" Tea at our church(Calvary Baptist). We got all dressed up! I think we looked pretty cute...well at least the girls did.

It was a lot of fun. There was food, entertainment, and fellowship. Every table has its own theme and special cake. We sat at my Aunt Terri's table...our theme was "Snyder Tigers". Her daughter is a senior...I wonder where she came up with the idea?
Me and my precious girls...just before the tea.

Here is our awesome cake...made by Ashley Martin. She makes the most amazing cakes!
Aunt Terri(our table host), Shaye(her daughter), and Sydney. Sydney looks like she is sliding off, but I assure you that Shaye has a good hold on her.
Sweet Sisters!!!

This was our entertainment...
...they came in from the Islands...
...Elvis LIVES!!!...
...I'm not so sure about these boys!

So much fun and Sweet Sydney was given a Bible for being the youngest to attend.

It was a very special time for us and I look forward to next year.

Outside

Our kids favorite thing to do is go OUTSIDE. They love riding their bikes, drawing with chalk, playing chase, running through the sprinkler(now that it's getting warmer), helping Momma wash the car. They don't care as long as it gets them outside!

Miles has taken over Tenley's old tricycle like a pro.
Tenley sits so tall on her bike. As I was taking this picture I realized she didn't have shoes on...I could just spank her...but I didn't.
Sweet beautiful girl!
Big Boy...oh...his latest development...he can burp on command! He's only two...what's next...fart noises? I have said it before and I'm sure I will say it again...he is ALL BOY!!!
This picture is imperfectly beautiful. The hair is blowing, there isn't a smile, yet it is still a "keeper"

Here's the story...
A couple of days ago, Uncle Mark parked his tractors in the wheat field close to our house. Well, Miles has been going nuts...he LOVES tractors. He just thinks its the best day when he gets to ride in one with Daddy or Grandpa. Daddy gave in last night and took him over to crawl all over the thing. Of course, I saw a photo opt, so I brought the girls over and we took a picture.

Sydney is trying not to slide off! Miles is so excited he can't hardly stand it! Tenley is being the big sister holding everyone in place!
Mommy's making Sydney smile while Daddy's takes a few pictures.

3 Months

Sydney Clair turned 3months yesterday!!!
WOW!!! I can hardly believe it has been 3 months. She is growing so fast. When she went to the Dr. last Monday(remember...pink eye both eyes and ear infections both ears) she was 26in long and 11.8lbs. She is still long and skinny!!
She has been such a sweet addition to our family. Tenley and Miles just love loving on her. They are so gentle and sweet.
She is developing fast too. She kicks those long legs, coos so sweetly, smiles all the time, she can hold her own bottle(but I still like to hold it for her), sleeps through the night(YAY!), basically she is just the sweetest little thing.

We love her so much!
