How has your morning gone?

I hope your morning has gone well...Mine has been a little stressful to be honest.

This is what I woke up too...The "Little Monster" strikes again!!!
 This time with an accomplice...
Mister Miles with his goatee and tats...

So here is the whole long story...
This is what I woke up too...I'll be honest I laughed, apparently a couple of kids woke up last night. I quickly realized that permanent markers weren't the extent of the damage. Apparently all the energy they spent doing their wonderful body art made them hungry. I had a carton and a half of strawberries that mysteriously disappear. However, upon further inspection, I noticed they didn't all disappear. Some of them have been mashed into my carpet. That's right they decided to color the carpet...WITH STRAWBERRIES!!!

Are you sensing my frustration???

To top it off as I was uploading pics to this blog. The "Little Monster" aka Syd managed to open a brand new box of PediCare pain relief/fever reducer. Brand New as in...she opened the box...pulled off the plastic seal...managed to get the "child proof" cap off...ripped into the foil seal. Is anyone else seeing a problem with this? I mean I have a hard time getting these medicine bottles open. Not Syd! Luckily she cares more about destroying my carpet than she does tasting stuff. Because she pour the entire bottle on the floor...UGH!!!!

So...Who wants an adorable 2 yr old, she's free to a loving home. She even "redecorates" your house...whether you want her to or not!

Birthday Breakfast...

Our birthday tradition is to have "Birthday Supper". Basically if it's your birthday, you get to pick what we have for supper. Then we have birthday cake, then the kids open their gifts from Goose and I.

Since we knew that we were going to be traveling on Tenley's Bday. I improvised and we had "Birthday Breakfast". We have eggs and toast...Tenley's favorite. We had birthday cake...yes after breakfast. Goose thought that was wonderful, he's been trying to talk me into letting him have desserts after breakfast ever since...I told him No Way!!
Not really sure why Ten is making such a funny face. Ignore the unfolded sheets in the background.
Something was funny...look up babies, look up!
A good nights sleep does wonders for these little ones personalities...or maybe it's the anticipation of getting to eat birthday cake at 9am...
Happy Birthday Sweet Ten...We Love You So Much!!
and many more...

Wow...Has it really been 6 years?

To this Mommas disbelief, yes it has been 6 years.

My little(she will ALWAYS be my little girl) snaggletooth almost 6 year old...
I can't tell you how excited the kids are that we are finally getting pretty days. Just like most kids, they LOVE being out side...
Sometimes they just don't want to stop for a picture...
Finally after weeks and weeks of having a loose tooth. She let me pull it(it took a little coaxing). I pulled it at 11:55pm on March 16th, just in time to get extra money from the tooth fairy for loosing a tooth on her birthday. Truthfully it was so loose, all I had to do was get a good grip on it and it came right out...first try.
(taken with iPhone 3/18/2012)

I can't believe how fast these years are flying by. Ten loves cleaning, her favorite is vacuuming. She has been doing great with her school work, if fact she is flying through her books so fast that we have had to buy her several more. She really enjoys school. She even likes when Miles wants to do his "school" with her. She likes helping him/ showing him what he needs to do. I may have a future teacher on my hands.

She is a wonderful big sister, that's not to say the kids don't have their squabbles, but overall she is a big help. She is very much like a little momma, not because I ask her too, but because she wants too. She is always there with a hug or kiss whenever the kids want one(and sometimes when they don't).

She weighs 74lbs(95 percentile) and a little over 4ft 1in tall(95 percentile). She is going to be a big girl like her Daddy and Momma.

Sweet Baby Girl, we love you so much! Daddy and I pray for you daily. Although it is hard for me to see you growing up, I'm truly excited about what our precious Savior has in store to your life. Always follow Jesus and his teachings. With Him all things are possible -Philippians 4:13

Nothing but Grins...

Someone was pretty happy to be 6 weeks old...and that someone was little Miss Madison
"Oh Grampa, you're so funny...stop, stop, you're going to make me pee in my diaper"...
 Sweet Smile...
She is definitely starting to smile more...I love it! My face lights up, every time I see hers light up.

Sydbo

I guess she thought Madison's headband would look pretty on her...
Cheese...
Go ahead Punk...Make My Day!
She is constantly reminding me that she is both equal amounts of Sweet/Ornery, Precious/Mischievous, and Adorable/Toot...but I'm going to keep her. Without a doubt she keeps my days interesting!

1 Month...

Madison Gail turned 1 month last weekend.  She is getting so big...at least to us! Her life is pretty simple right now...eat, sleep, poop, repeat! She has been sleeping about 6 hrs at night, which I'm not going to lie, has been wonderful. She is such a good baby. She only gets fussy when she is hungry or needs her diaper changed. So far we haven't had to deal with her fighting sleep.

At her two week check up she wasn't quite back to her birth weight, I was a little surprised. She is such a big eater, so I've concluded that I'm like Michelle Duggar(from 19 kids and counting). Michelle swears she produces skim milk, and I think I'm the same way. I just don't get chubby babies...I get long and skinny babies. Which I'm ok with as long as they are healthy.
So serious...
There's my happy baby...
Sweet kisses from Bub...
Sweet kisses from Ten...
Sweet kisses from Sydbo...See a pattern? They love giving her kisses...
I never get tired of looking at that sweet face...
Big girl...
We just lover her to pieces!

What Every "Real" Bull Rider Needs...

...a protector vest! Lucky for Miles, his O'ma and Pop knew this, so they got him one for Christmas. He is so proud of it...I mean I don't think he can puff up his chest anymore!
He often wears it to town...and he's even worn it to church a couple of times. You can't be too careful, you never know when you might have to ride a bull!

Sunday Lunch...

Sunday lunches are a time our family looks forward to every week. Grandma has been cooking for the family! A couple of Sundays ago Kevin and Tonny made a flying trip with their girls to west Texas. We didn't get to see Tonny and Molly. Little Molly wasn't feeling well. But we did get to see Kevin and Ruthie.

Such big kids...sitting there eating their lunch.
Such a toot! Not sitting down eating her lunch...

Taking a nap, so Momma can eat her lunch
It was shortly after this picture that Kevin realized that Syd was making him do all the work. She would hand him a block and he would put it on...and so on. She's clever!
Aunt Gwenie's first time getting to see Madison
After lunch visiting
What's not to look forward to...the food is wonderful and we get to be with family!
