Because she had such a good time we bought her a little pool. Who knew that a 1ft pool could be so much fun?? Now that is all she talks about!!! As soon as she sees that house, it's "Mama, go wiming?" Ok...so that sounds a lot sweeter in her voice, but you get the idea.

Fun in The Sun!!!
Our sweet Baby girl L...O...V...E...S to be outside!!! It doesn't matter what she is doing as long as she gets to do it outside. Usually she rides her tricycle or colors with chalk, but the other day we decided to pull out the sprinkler. Ok...actually it started out as the spray nozzle on the water hose, then it became the sprinkler. She had a BLAST!!!

Accidents Happen...
I knew one day it was bound to happen and it finally did!!!
Tenley had her first BIG accident. Last week we had gone to see Grandpa & Grandnanna. Right before we left their house. Tenley was playing and she started running from me. I immediately saw that she was not lined up with the entryway. I reached to grab for her...but...I was too late.!!! She was looking at me to see if I was chasing...she turned and at the moment her forehead collided with the corner of the entryway. She hit so hard that it knocked her back on her bottom.
I reached down and picked her up and Goose rushed over to see. She already had a knot the size of a quarter on her forehead. There was a perfect purple bruised line from where she hit the corner. I made myself relax with the thought that the knot was on the outside. She was a trooper!!!
(I took this picture the morning after...as you can see most of the swelling had already gone down.)
JUST A LITTLE BIT LATER THAT NIGHT...
When we were leaving, Tenley decided to take off and run across the street. Grandpa went and got her. Daddy was not far behind. When Grandpa and Tenley met Goose on the way back. She quickly realized that she was about to get a "lecture" for crossing the street without someone else. So she started running from Goose. As soon as she hit the loose gravel in the driveway she busted and banged up her knee.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Children shouldn't run from their Mommy or Daddy!!!!

Favorite Who???
That's right...Favorite Aunt Johnnie!!!
This was so sweet!!! Last Saturday, when we were hanging out with the other Stansell Clan. Tenley decided that she wanted to hold her cousin Baby Kate.
Well naturally I wanted to take a picture. But as you can see I am busy making sure that Tenley is on her best behavior. So Alanna did the honors!!!
If you will look to the middle left of this picture you will notice that someone else wanted to join us so...we graciously made room for one more...
By the time this picture was taken there were a couple of boys who were feeling a little left out. And...since I AM the favorite...I can't be leaving anyone out!!!
This was a great moment caught on camera that I will always have!!! My sweet, sweet, nieces, nephew and kids!!! I will say...at that moment I sure was missing little Ian!!! He would have made my picture complete!!!

Playtime With Cousins
This past weekend the kids and I went to town and met up with Chris, Alanna, and the kids. It was a lot of fun!!! Rachel and Luke brought their jumper. They invited Tenley to join in on the fun. She wasn't really sure what to do at first.
Here you can see Tenley is...checking out the exit!!! Rachel talked her out of using it!!!
There were a few times Tenley would just sit down and let Luke and Rachel bounce her.
She realizes that she has to jump like a frog!!!!
Now...the fun begins!!!!
Sweet Sweet Cousins!!!
Rachel and Luke were so precious!!! They both wanted to play with Miles. It was amazing how grown up they both were. They were so careful with him!!! It makes me excited for times to come!!!

A Blast From The Past...Pre-Miles
I was looking through some old pictures of Tenley. I found a few!!! I felt they were SO cute they needed to be shared again!!!
Where does the time go??? Seriously...It feels like we just had her!! Now we have Miles too!!! I guess it is true what they say...Time stops for no one!!!
She has always been a really big fan of chocolate ice cream.
Sweet, Sweet Baby!!! This has always been one of my favorites of Tenley. I can't really tell you why. She just looks so precious!!!!
Can you see the resemblance??? WOW...if I didn't know that it was Tenley I might mistake this picture for one of Miles'
Tenley playing on our bed. According to the date on the picture she was only 2 1/2 months. Doesn't she look big??
Nap time!!!
We let her have some powdered doughnuts...she couldn't get enough. She wanted one for each hand.
Look at all those birthday gifts!!! I don't think she was lacking for anything...except clothes!!!
What is it with kids and straws??? Tenley can't help but chomp on a straw if she can get her hands on one. Maybe it is the whole teething thing!!!
Isn't that sweet...she wants to cuddle with Daddy. She still isn't very lady like in dresses...I guess we will have to leave the dress wearing to Rachel!!
Her eyes are so BIG...It's like she can't believe that BIG gift is for her!!!
I guess she is marking which half of the chair is hers and which half is Blayne's
Goose and I would get so tickled that she could actually sleep this way. Her head is actually against the bars. After she slept like this she had two marks were the bars had been. I tried to move her and she crawled right back up there.
My little girl!!! 14 months and still not walking...She had it down by 15months though!!!

Oh Happy Day...
My sister Angela is getting married!!! My soon to be Brother-in-law Josiah did an EXCELLENT job with the proposal.
Josiah had led Ang to believe that he was attending a friends wedding in California. He even went as far as to have Ang drop him off at the airport Friday night(his sister Crystal picked him up shortly after).
Jage (Angela's roomie) talked Ang into going for a hike on Saturday morning. Or so Ang thought!!!
Josiah, his cousin Matt, and Crystal started the hike about 30 minutes or so before Ang and Jage. As Josiah went down the 3 1/2 mile trail. Every so often he would leave a red rose with a note attached. He left 12 roses in all for her to find. The 12th rose said he had a question he wanted to ask her.
And of course she said yes!!!! This is definitely a story she will remember!!!
We are so thrilled!! Josiah is such a sweet guy!!! He will make a wonderful addition to our family!! They are planning an October 4th outdoor wedding.
The best part...Josiah called and told me that he was planning on proposing and then having a little surprise get together with their friends and family. He never expected that we would come. He just wanted to include us. See...I told you he was sweet!!! My other sister Nicki and I decided to surprise Ang as well. We made a flying trip up to Colorado with the kids in tow. Ang had NO idea!!! After she had been there for a minute or two Nicki, the kids, and I came through the back door. When she saw us...I will never forget the look on her face. We wouldn't have missed it!!
After the initial surprise...and tears, we helped her celebrate her new engagement!!!
Ang and Siah...I love ya'll and pray that God blesses ya'lls marriage. Keep him first and foremost in your lives and marriage and you can't go wrong!!!!

A Beautiful Day Outside
It seems that I am always playing catch up on my blog. I get caught up just so I can relax and get behind again!!! Oh..well!!
A couple of weekends ago...We went to a birthday party for Luke. He was turning 4 and wanted us to help him celebrate. They had the party here in Snyder at his Grandma Linda's. It was such a BEAUTIFUL day.
We were all playing and talking in the back yard when Tenley walked behind Rachel while she was swinging...Tenley not realizing the consequence of this little action was caught off guard when Rachel and the swing swung back and completely knocked her off her feet.
Though Tenley was the one doing the crying. I think her fall hurt the Moms and Dads more than it hurt her. No one was more upset than Rachel. Bless her heart she was just sick that she had hurt Tenley. We all reassured Rachel that it was not her fault. She gave Tenley hugs and kisses...and all was right with the world again!!
Lesson #1~ Don't walk to close to a swing in use!!! Hopefully this is a lesson that Tenley will not soon forget.
Later in the day we all had a good laugh...Little Luke had taught Tenley the fine art of crawling though the doggie door!! We had noticed that Grandma Linda's came equipped with a doggie door, but thought... Surely Not!!!
Surely Yes!!! We looked up to see Tenley following Luke through the doggie door!!! Not just once but several times!!! I lost count at 10!!
Lesson #2~ Doggie Doors are WAY more fun than human doors!!!

Personally I think Miles had the right idea...yes that is him under that FILTHY cap!!! After getting loved on from Grandnanna, Granny, all the aunts, uncles & cousins Miles decided it was time for a nap. I guess Miles thought his Daddy's arms would be the perfect place for his nap, cause he went right to sleep.
With us being outside Goose was worried that Miles would get too much sun, so he graciously shared his cap. As you can see Aunt Cara snapped the cutest picture!!!
