Who's a Big Girl???

Sydney Clair...that's who!

She has several new things to report...

She sits up all by herself.

Her first tooth has made it's appearance...one down...lots more to come.

Give her a couple of weeks and she will be crawling...she gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth like a pro.

I just can't believe how much she is growing and changing. I swear it feels like I just had her, and here she is knocking on the 6 month mark.

A message from the kids to Pop...

"Pop, we miss you!"

My family reunion(Mom's side) is the first weekend in August. My Dad hates the 10 hr drive down! So the kids and I thought we would give him a little...shall we say...incentive to make the trip!

"Pop, if you don't come in August...it will be Christmas before we see you"

Clearly I don't have an eye...

...for taking pictures.

I used to think that if I just kept taking pictures that eventually I would get better at it, but I have given up on that logic...now my plan is just to snap away and hope that if I take a 100 pics I will find at least one or two "keepers".

After the wheat around our house way bailed, it looked so pretty the kids and I loaded down a stroller, grabbed the camera and headed out for a picture shoot.

I would like to point out these pictures were taken before my new concept for taking pictures was thought up...so they are what they are...sorry!

It was a little harder trying to get this one...trying to get there kids to cooperate is like...well let's just it hard.
I'm an optimist...I CHOOSE to believe that it will be better when Sydney can hold herself up

I think this is the best one we got.

Whew...I'm tired! I now understand why photographers have assistants...
