How has your morning gone?

I hope your morning has gone well...Mine has been a little stressful to be honest.

This is what I woke up too...The "Little Monster" strikes again!!!

So here is the whole long story...
This is what I woke up too...I'll be honest I laughed, apparently a couple of kids woke up last night. I quickly realized that permanent markers weren't the extent of the damage. Apparently all the energy they spent doing their wonderful body art made them hungry. I had a carton and a half of strawberries that mysteriously disappear. However, upon further inspection, I noticed they didn't all disappear. Some of them have been mashed into my carpet. That's right they decided to color the carpet...WITH STRAWBERRIES!!!

Are you sensing my frustration???

To top it off as I was uploading pics to this blog. The "Little Monster" aka Syd managed to open a brand new box of PediCare pain relief/fever reducer. Brand New as in...she opened the box...pulled off the plastic seal...managed to get the "child proof" cap off...ripped into the foil seal. Is anyone else seeing a problem with this? I mean I have a hard time getting these medicine bottles open. Not Syd! Luckily she cares more about destroying my carpet than she does tasting stuff. Because she pour the entire bottle on the floor...UGH!!!!

So...Who wants an adorable 2 yr old, she's free to a loving home. She even "redecorates" your house...whether you want her to or not!

Chris and Alanna said...: It would have been even funnier if Miles woke up as surprised as you about the body art and Sydney had done it to him while he was sleeping. Just think your kids are giving you great stories to tell your grandkids.

The picture of Miles is so funny. I laughed so hard when I saw it on FB. The goatee and tattoos are funny but the rest of the stuff isn't at all. I have been there and it is very frustrating. Makes you want to cry and start the day over. I hope everybody was sleepy last night and the rodeo is good tonight! :0); March 31, 2012 at 12:30 PM

LAUGHS WITH TENLEY...

"Oh So True!!"

As I was right in the middle of explaining to Tenley that she and Miles know better than to play with my things(in this particular case...my hot glue gun). She tells me,"Well, I tried not to, and I tried to tell Miles not to play with it, but we are JUST LITTLE KIDS!" It caught me so off guard, I started laughing, right then and there. My lecture went right out the window!

"I Wish"

I have switched to my summer schedule at work and I have to be there an hour earlier. My wonderful Aunt Darlene is graciously letting me drop off all 3 kids at 6:30am. She feeds them breakfast and then drops the 2 big ones off for school(daycare) by 8am. While they were eating breakfast Uncle Nelson was aggravating Ten. She looked over at Aunt Dar and said, "My Daddy minds my Mommy, he does everything she says". I wish I knew what dream world she is living in...cause I want to move there!

Back story...Grampa & Grandnanna gave Tenley a CD and CD player for Christmas.

Story...Tenley," I don't want that CD. I want to listen to Grandnanna's CD.

Me,"This CD is the same as Grandnanna's...she burned a copy for you.

Tenley," Is it still hot?"

While I was taking Tenley to potty(we were at a restaurant), she asked me, "Momma when I get big, will I get to potty by myself"

Picture this...I'm in the living room brushing Tenley's hair getting ready to pull it into a ponytail and she is whining...

Me: "Tenley hush, I'm so sick of all the whining"

Tenley: "Well, I'm sick of it too, but you're hurting me"

"Be Nice"

Goose was aggravating me so Tenley came to my rescue. Direct quote: "Daddy, I don't care if it is happy father's day or if you're the boss...you have to be nice to Mommy, she loves you!"

"You Can Have My last One"

Last night Goose was pulling Startburst out of Miles' and Tenley's ears. The were thrilled running around giggling saying "pull another one from my ear...now mine!" So I said "Oh, maybe Sydney has one or two in her ear". Goose said, "I don't think so she's too young". I said,"Mommy was going to eat hers." I must have given a convincing sad face, because Tenley said, "You can have my last one." Awe...my sweet girl!! As I was basking in the wonderfulness of my daughters giving heart, she says, "It's ok, I'll just go get me more out of Daddy's lunch box." Little stinker...she thinks of everything!

"You Smell Like..."

After giving Tenley a bath and putting lotion and her jamas on. She likes to climb up in her Daddy's lap before bedtime. The other night she did this very thing. After she had been sitting there for a few minutes, Goose notice she had taken several deep breaths through her nose. So he asked her, "What are you doing?" She smiled shyly said,"you smell like, like.....playdough!". Goose laughed and said, "is that bad?" "No, you smell goooood!"

"My Turn"

We were driving home and I told Tenley to put her arm back under her seat belt. She asked why. I simply told her because I am the boss and you have to mind the boss. So she says...Momma, when I get big, it's my turn to be the boss...ok?

"Nicknames"
When we were leaving Renea's today Tenley asked "what is NaeNae's baabp doing?" I looked around...what on earth was she talking about?
There he was under the car port Val...aka "NaeNae's Babe"!!
I asked Tenley does NaeNae call Val Babe? "He no Val...he Babe" "Oh" I replied. "He's working"
I called Renea when we got home to verify. She confirmed that Babe is what she always calls Val.
Moral...be careful she is paying attention!!!

"What Will She Say Next???"
Tenley told me on the way home from NaeNae's that she needed to go potty.
Once we got home, she started playing. I knew she needed a reminder before we had a accident. "Tenley, go potty...hurry hurry hurry!"
She took a step and then looked at me and said,"Mommy...use your words."
I was a little confused I did use my words "Tenley go potty".
She said," Use your words...like my words!"
The light came on "Tenley, PLEASE go use the potty." that was it! she went to potty.
