Soccer Camp!!!

I have been so excited for Tenley to play sports. The problem is most of the kids' sports in Snyder you have to be 4 yrs old to play. The WTC's soccer coach loves the game and loves teaching the game. He and his wife head up all the youth soccer programs in Snyder. They get their soccer players to help out with the coaching and drills. It is really very cool.
In June a friend told me they were going to have a soccer camp and they were going to let 3yr olds come. I was pumped!! Yay...Tenley gets to play sports...we get to see if she will even like sports(you never know)!
She did great! She isn't a pro by any means, but she loved it and we loved watching her. That is all the matters.

I told her I was going to take her picture, so she kept looking over at me and smiling! What a stinker!!! When I want her to smile she doesn't and when I want to get action shots she turns and smiles...

She was such a big girl...she would listen to their instructions and then do exactly what they said. She didn't want any help from me or Goose. She wanted to do it all by herself!!!
She really liked when they did the stretching!
We took Miles with us the first day of camp and it didn't go so well. He just didn't understand why he couldn't go play with Tenley. So Grandnanna graciously offered to watch him the other days.
The last day he got a treat and Grandnanna brought him up to watch towards the end of camp. He was so excited!!!

It didn't take him long to find the things he wasn't supposed to play with...typical boy!
"What do you mean I don't need to move this boundary line?"

Everyday at camp the kids got to have a Popsicle break. This was by far one of Tenley's favorite parts of camp. On the first day she ran up to me after camp was over and said, "Mommy, we got water and a POPSICLE!!!"
Miles even got to have a Popsicle when he stopped by.
The last day of camp the kids scrimmaged. I was a little nervous. This was the WTC soccer student that "coached" her team for the scrimmages.
She even got in a few kicks!
She even managed time during camp to have a boyfriend(Blayne Bankhead). You can't tell from the photo, but she was making him hold her hand!

Tenley and her little buddy's: Blayne Bankhead, Tenley, Walker Wilson, & Shelby Powell

Daddy's coming back from chasing run away little boys(Blake & Bryan B. Miles & Daddy)
It was a great week of soccer camp. She did so well, we decided to let her play Fall soccer. Her first game is Sept 14th.

That's really cool. Does Tenley kick the ball hard, or does she kick like her Auntch?

Have Aaron show her his Little Tiger skills. Because we all know daughters only like Daddies who have great skills.
