Soccer

Soccer is underway for the Stansell family. Tenley has had 3 games so far. I can honestly say in just those 3 games we have hit both ends of the scale.

The first game she was awesome. I don't mean that she is a natural soccer star, but she played. She followed the ball. She kicked it a couple of times. Bare in mind she is three and this is her first game. She did great and had fun!!!

By the second game, which was a week later with no practice in between, it was like soccer was foreign to her. The first quarter she stood in the same spot, chewing on her finger. Then she did a couple of twirls and sat out. She Started whining through the second half because she wanted to play, but I wouldn't go out there with her.

The third game...well we were somewhere in the middle. She played a little, stood a little, sat a little, chewed her finger a little, and ran a little. We are going to keep practicing with her and hope it gets better.

In spite of all this the little Tigers have won all three games...

Tenley personal cheer section! I think it took all 3 of them to keep little Miles happy. Grandpa was a trooper and "shouldered" most of it, so I could film the game.

I keep telling myself...She is only 3!!! As long as she has fun that is ALL that matters.
