Tenley's Big News...

Our Big girl has lost her first tooth!!!

I didn't believe her last Saturday when she woke me up to tell me that she has a loose tooth. But sure enough, she did. I began telling her how exciting it is to loose a tooth. I told her how the tooth fairy leaves money for little girls and boys when they loose their teeth. She began getting really excited. She wanted her tooth to come out right then. I explained that it could take a couple of days.

By Thursday night(5.26.11) she was just beside herself to get that tooth out! I wasn't completely comfortable pulling it, so I gave her an apple as a snack...I know...I should have just pulled it, but I couldn't. She took a few bites and then when I checked to see how loose it was, it came right out.

I was more excited than she was at first...

I think it surprised her when it came out.

After I reminded her about the tooth fairy, she got really excited.

Another first for our big girl...I've said it before and I'll say it again...She is growing up way too fast!
