We finally did it...We made it to the Sandlin reunion!
It seems over the last 81/2 years there has always been something that has gotten in the way of us making the trip to Lake Livingston...college, babies, lack of funds, and I'm sure things I've already forgotten about. Not this year...this year we committed to going and that's just what we did!
To say we enjoyed ourselves would be an understatement...we had a blast!!!
Apparently Uncle Chrissy was so relaxing, he put Syd to sleep...in the lake.
Ten was our little fish...it was hard to keep her out of the water.
But there was so much more to do than just swim in the Lake. The boys threw the football around a little...
Once a football player...always a football player
They also have access to a pool, so the kids jumped at the chance to have a different place to swim.
Ten just got through telling me..."this is so much fun"
That smile says it all!
Syd getting in some cuddle time with Uncle Chrissy...I am quickly learning he is one of her favorite people!
Ten and Emily took some time to hit the ball around...it was really cute to watch them play together.
This is the first time Nancy and Steve had their whole family at the reunion...
This sums up how we all felt as we were leaving...we played until we just had nothing left!!
We can't wait until next year...we will definitely be making the trip again.
