The kids and I have been trying to find things to do this summer to stay indoors and out of the heat. Finger painting was a big hit with all of us. I had bought the finger paints a while back, but hadn't been brave enough to try it. I'm glad we did! (side note: Finger paints by Crayola are wonderful! It wiped of clean from everywhere it wasn't supposed to be...including the kids)
I don't think Miles quite got the point of having four different colors. That or the urge to mix them was just more than he could resist...
Oh well, he had fun and in the end, it's that pretty much what matters?!?!
Monkey see...Monkey do. I hope this is something she will eventually out grow, otherwise I see lots of trouble in their futures!
Ten loved every minute of this. She even drew a couple of pictures before we started, just so she could color them with her paints.
She was so proud of her picture.
Yeah...clearly I'm going to have to give him a few more instructions next time. Boys will be Boys!!!

Ten liked my family pic and decided to paint one of her own. I like how she mixed colors on hers. Apparently we still need to work with her on writing from left to right. :-)
We all enjoyed painting...I think we will do it again and soon.
