We had another "successful" reunion. I know to people that haven't been going to this reunion their whole lives, like I have, we probably seems a little...crazy...rough around the edges...or maybe even odd. But what I see is my Gramps' family, people who would do anything to help you(or anyone else for that matter) out, they give the best hugs, and they genuinely love seeing you.
It is a little more sad to go these days, you see, it is getting so that most of the originally brother and sisters have already gone home to heaven. So every year when this reunion rolls around it makes me miss them all just a little bit more. It is also a reminder for us to enjoy the time we have with our family and friends...you never now when it will be your last.
Apparently I didn't take any pictures on Saturday so all of these are from Sunday...
Miles was watching Carol like a hawk, i guess to make sure she was making his biscuits right. He asked her a ton of questions and she patiently answer each one...
Patrisha cooking the sausage...There were more to the breakfast crew, but they were talking in all the pictures...
As a general practice I just don't like morning people...but for these two I will make an exception...
Got to love the "men folk" standing around, drinking coffee, talking, waiting for the "women folk" to prepare the breakfast...
Not really sure what Aunt Car was telling Miles, but I'm pretty sure that Miles and Uncle Ted were thinking the same thing...
You don't have to tell us twice...
Tell me you wouldn't get up at 6am for a good ' ol fashion breakfast like this...
Poor baby...5:30am(what time we had to be up to make it to the barn to help cook breakfast) is just too early to wake up for breakfast...
But just like any baby as soon as I sat down with my plate she was wide awake and trying to get to my food...The Sunday Lunch crowd is always the biggest!
Beautiful Ang and sleeping Brooklyn...
Jim and Mom(1st cousins)...
Virginia(Sissy), Betty, and Janie(sisters)
Goose and Miles...
Lori & Ricky(she is my first cousin) and baby girl Cogliandro...
Stylish Ten...
Mom & Aunt JoThis is what happens if you spend too much time around us...
For better or worse...these people are my family and I love them!!!
