One Birthday...Three Parties!

Tenley really got to celebrate her birthday in style this year. She managed to get 3 parties for the price of 1 birthday!

Party #1

I wanted to get some "Mommy" points, so I made cupcakes for her to take to school and share with her friends. She was so excited...she wanted to take more cupcakes the next day.

Party #2

Goose and I like to do a little family celebration with just us and the kids. I cook the birthday kids favorite meal for supper, they open their gifts. Then best for last we eat cake!! Or in this case, cupcakes. I know the concept has been done before, but it's a first for me. It was fun!

It was A LOT of pink!!!

Even with all the pink I still thought they turned out pretty cute...but lets face it...it's more about the way it tastes. Those cupcakes were so goooood it was hard to just have one...or two!

Tinker bell...Tinker bell...Tinker bell!!! She got Tinker bell shoes, to go with the outfit she already had. Tinker bell and the Lost Treasure and she got some stuff to play with outside, caulk(we can ever have enough of that), and a rainbow ribbon streamer...thingy!

Party #3

Tenley's extended family and friends party. We tried to have it at the Snyder Elementary School Playground, but we quickly learned that the wind was not going to cooperate and die down. So we let the kids play for a good while and then we moved to Grandpa and Grandnanna's for the cake and home made ice cream.

Sorry about this picture...I need a flash for my camera. This is what happens when you don't have a flash and the lighting is not just right. This picture was the best one of the kids with the cake I had. I didn't even get one with just the cake...oops! I opted for green icing this time...and you can't see them but it had little blue, pink, and yellow poke-a-dots all over it.

Needless to say...3 parties(2 batches of cupcakes, and 1 BIG birthday cake) later...I'm tired!!!!
