The Rest of The Story...

A couple of weeks ago Tenley got her first hair cut.

She had several different layers of hair growth and I wanted to even it up without loosing much length.

It turned out so cute!! I was so please!! She looked absolutely adorable!!!
It was a little rocky getting started...there were a few tears, but all in all she had fun.

And the rest of the story...

She must have liked having her hair cut, because later that very same night...she cut her hair again. Yes you read right...she cut her own hair again. I guess it could have been worse...she could have cut it to the scalp or cut Miles' hair...but still...we just had hers cut!! I guess we should have stressed the "It's only OK for Tara to cut your hair" speech.

Here is the damage...she did this to both sides. She left a couple of long stands, but cut most of it off just under her ear.

So I called the next day and made her an appointment to fix the problem. Tara is very good at what she does so we were going to have to wait a couple of weeks before I could get her in.

TODAY was the big day!

She asked to take a picture with her Momma while she waited...it was so sweet!
She thought getting her hair washed was the best part...It happens to be my favorite part too!

I am so pleased...yes it is short, but again, it could have been so much worse! The whole time Tara was cutting Tenley's hair she was telling me about little girls who have cut their hair and she was called in to work her magic.
