Rodeo

This is probably not a surprise to most of you but Miles LOVES horses, cows, dogs, deer(reindeers, as he calls them), pretty much all animals. For this reason I was so excited to take him to the rodeo this year. He loved it last year, so I knew this one would be even better. Goose doesn't do rodeos so he stayed home with Syd while Me, Ten, and Miles went.

So excited...let's get this party started!

We even ran into a friendly face. Billie was there with friends and they just so happened to have 3 extra seats so we sat by them. Aunt Billie was a big help...Ten had to go to the bathroom at least a half dozen times(yes I know she's my daughter, she wants to be up and around so she can see everyone) so Billie would let Miles stay with her...Thank you Billie!

This was Ten's buddy(Emery) throughout the rodeo. They are the same age, they had a blast. Emery is the younger sister to one of my former students.

He would go to a rodeo everyday if he could

 This is pretty much how Miles stayed throughout the whole rodeo. After every event he would turn an look at me so sad and ask if it was over. I would tell him no and to keep watching.

 We stayed for a little bit after the show and watched. The kids thought it was so cool seeing the cowboys put more steers in the pen. They were mesmerized.

The steers were so close the kids could almost reach out and touch them. Miles tried to once, but I quickly told him if he tried that again we would leave and go home. 

We had a great time. I love the rodeo too. Since Goose doesn't I guess this will just be something that I get to do with the kids. Although, to be honest, Goose does come sometimes...just cause he knows I like for him to.
