4 Months...

It's true, even though I can hardly believe it myself. Little Madi is already 4 months old. She is as happy as ever. I can't even remember what life was like without her, she "fits" into our family so perfectly.

She had her 4 month check up(6-12-12). She is growing, growing, growing. She weighs 12lbs 11ozs(45%). She's 25 1/2 ins(90th). At 4 months Sydbo has her beat(13lbs 6ozs and 26 1/2ins). Ten and Miles both smaller.

All grins and giggles. She is laughing now, it is the sweetest sound. When I'm pregnant I can't wait to hear the heartbeat. After I have my babies I can't wait to hear them laugh. Truly, a sweet, sweet sound.

She loves talking...she gets that from me. She just jibber jabbers and then politely waits for you to answer her back.

Her exercises. She lifts her head and legs up off the ground at the same time and just holds them there. Have you ever tried? It's hard ...and 2...and 3...

She loves being, held, played with, smiles at, and talked to. She loves playing Patty Cake, Open Shut Them, Peek a boo, and pretty much any song you will sing to her.

She mastered rolling from her back to her tummy earlier this month and continues to roll from her tummy to her back. Basically she just rolls all over the place.

She travels well. In her four months we have already traveled to Denver, Dallas, and multiple times to Lubbock and town. She never seems to mind riding in her car seat and long as the car is going, she doesn't care too much for it when we are just idling.

She is happy I would say about 95% of the time. The other 5% comes in when I take too long getting situated to feed her. When she is hungry...she is hungry! She is still a good eater nursing about every 3 hrs during the day.

I would say she is still sleeping through the night. We have had a couple of rough nights, but I am chalking them up to growth spurts and teething. Yup, she is teething like crazy! Chewing everything she can get her hands on. No teeth have surfaced yet, but the fever, drooling, and chewing phase have definitely begun.

She goes to bed so easy. After she has nursed. I lay her in her nap nanny with her paci and blanket and she falls fast asleep. Which is helpful since it takes me at least an hour to get the other 3 to wind down.
