On Memorial Weekend we just stayed home and relaxed with family. My Mom and Dad came in from Colorado and they brought my 18 month old niece, Brooklyn. Nic and her boyfriend Jeremy also came in.
Now I'm not sure why, but it seems I just took pics of the kids...
"That's right folks, I can multitask...One hand for the milk, and the other for "my baby"". She is always telling people that Madi is "her baby".
Sweet Brooklyn Grace....I had rocked Brooklyn to sleep and she took a good nap, but when she started stirring, I guess she wasn't quite rested because when Uncle Goose offered to hold her she went right to him and slept another 30-45mins. So naturally he took the opportunity to catch up on a little rest as well. Sweet snuggles...
Ten is growing up so fast...she loved being able to push little Brooklyn around, just like she does so many times for Syd and Miles. Stopping for a quick pic...
"Syd...whatcha doin?" "Who me?!?...Nothing"...
This sweet girl definitely inherited her Momma's multiple facial expressions(and if she is truly like her Momma, they will get her into trouble more time than she can count). This one says, "Look out uncle Goose, you are about to run over...something"
So much fun to be had outside on a beautiful day.
Pouting...I can't remember why at the moment, but I definitely know that is what he was doing.
Such a good Daddy pushing his little sweet girl around. She had a piece of chalk in her right hand. He would push her and she would tell him to stop. She would reach out and put a mark on the cement and then say, "ok go Daddy"
Big boy...He loves this little scooter. It is actually Ten's. He wasn't sure about it at first, but once Momma and Daddy rode it a few times, he must have thought, "how hard could it be?" because he is now riding it all over the place.
A quick stop between passing cars to visit... Pretty Girls...
This was so funny. Brooklyn looked around a couple of times to see who was going to help her into the car. O'ma and I tried to tell her to go around to the other side. Well that simply wasn't going to do. She wanted in that car right now and if we weren't going to help her...well, she would just do it herself!
There we go...now I'm in...kind of...
Ok leg...are you going to get into this car or what?!?!
A girls work is never done...
Hi Aunt Nonnie, I'm just out for a drive, don't mind me.
Isn't Goose so clever...Killing two birds with one stone so to speak. Don't let all this pushing around fool you. Syd is perfectly capable of peddling her tricycle, but who wants to do all that work when you have a perfectly good Daddy to push you all over the place?
It was a very relaxing weekend or at least I thought it was.
