How many kids are this excited to go to the dentist???
I'll back up a little bit. I finally took Miles and Tenley to the dentist in January to get their teeth checked and cleaned...for the first time...yes I know, I'm a bad Momma, but I'm trying to do better! Sydney is going in May for her first visit. At Tenley's check up they discovered two cavities on her back teeth. So she and I headed up to Lubbock on Feb 23rd to have them fixed. Double T Smiles is awesome! They had her in and out. She wasn't scared at all. I HATED the dentist when I was a kid. The other day she said she's ready to go back.
Right before we went in...
They gave her some "silly juice" as they called it as soon as we got there. Comical doesn't do it justice. She was hilarious...everything was funny to her. I tried to get her on camera, but trying to hold her up and record just wasn't going to happen.
At one point she tried to stand up(I only know that's what she was planning on, because she told me she was going to stand up now) however she just slid off her chair and into the floor and laid down. She looked up at a Dad, waiting for his kid to come out, and she said "hey, what are you doing up there?" Then she started giggling. I was laughing so hard I could hardly help her up.
I asked her if she thought the "silly juice" was working...she looked at me with a serious, stern face and said "No, I don't think so". Then she threw her head all the way back and began laughing.
*The Dentist discovered that Tenley's 6 year molars are already breaking through...what??? She's not even 5 yet!

We have not had that kind of reaction to the meds. And we have had to use them A LOT!!! Sounds like Tenley had a blast getting her teeth filled!! How funny!! Early teeth must be a Stansell thing...ours have done the same thing. Luke was referred to the orthodontist and he is only six!! Wade goes to see the dentist in May for the first time too!!
