Mother Daughter Tea

Every year I look forward to taking my girls to the Mother/Daughter Tea held at out church the Saturday before Mother's Day. This year I even decorated a table and ask a few ladies in our family to attend.

I went with very simple decorations. I made a couple of flower arrangements. When you decorate a table you are also responsible for the cake. So an Italian Cream cake was our center piece. We had around 340 ladies attend this year.

Sweet, Pretty girls...

Kate was sure to get some "Madison" time.
I finally won a door prize! This is my third year to attend, but my first time to win a door prize. Goodies from Henry & David.
Kate and Tenley even managed to win matching monkeys.
Our entertainment was wonderful! First we were visited by some singing pirates...
Then Hot Flash and the Menopause's sang a few numbers...
We ended with a performance from the Village Idiots...
It was another wonderful Tea!

Next year I'm even hoping to get a few more relatives to come. So if you think you want to come, just let me know and I'll make sure there is room at our table.
