7 Months

Ok, this post is horribly late, but I can't skip it. I want to tell you about Madi at 7 months...

 She pushes to sit up all on her own and has perfected crawling on all fours...

 She is so busy and into everything!

Her little personality is really starting to bloom, it is so sweet to watch. I really think she is going to have more of Miles' temperament. More quite and reserved.

She weighs 15lbs and 3ozs. Baby food seems to be doing a good job packing on the pounds. I forgot to measure her, trust me you aren't as upset as I am!

 She has said "Ma Ma" twice, but nothing else...little toot. But she did say Mama first, so I forgive her!

 She is a happy baby who loves her sisters and brother. They make her laugh regularly.

 I'm still her favorite person, but she will readily go to other people, if only for a minute. She loves the nursery ladies, I think it's because they spoil her terribly :)

She continues to gum on anything and everything that she can find, but still no teeth. I heard that the longer it takes for teeth to come in, the healthier and stronger they are. Maybe there will be a silver lining.

She has started a very bad habit...She is not sleeping through the night anymore. She is waking up anywhere from one to three times a night. Usually just for about a 5 min snuggle, a quick nursing, or a fast diaper change. Every now and then she will take the paci and go back to sleep, but most of the time though it takes me getting up and seeing to her needs. It makes for one tired Momma, most nights I feel like I'm getting a couple of naps instead of a full nights sleep.

She is a good eater. She is loving solid foods, fruits being her favorite, she still likes a few veggies. One of her favorites is sweet potatoes. See a pattern? She seems to be gravitating towards sweet foods...she gets that from her Daddy. I don't mind her liking sweets as long as she likes other things as well.

She is still such a happy baby. I love that her face just lights up when she smiles. Makes my heart smile!

7 months...It's going by too fast!
