Let the School Bell Ring...

School kicked off this week at our house. I was a little worried it would be a rough transition since the kids stayed several days with their cousins in Midland, and then practically turned around and stayed a week with my parents in Colorado. I was pleasantly surprised, I guess they were ready to start school.

My 1st grader... 

 I don't know why it continues to amaze me, but she has grown and changed so much in a year. She is growing up so fast. She is loving 1st grade. When I showed her, her books for this year, she smiled and said "I have so many!" She finished last years books up so fast, I hoping these hold out a little longer. She really loves school.

 My little Pre-K Kiddo...

 I wasn't really sure whether or not I was going to start him with Pre-k this year, but every time we talked about it he seemed so excited that I thought, why not. He seems to really be enjoying it so far...I really hope the excited holds out, at least for a couple of weeks.

 What is a photo shoot without silly pics?!?!

And of course Sydbo isn't about to let them have all the fun! She wanted her picture taken too(yes, I realize that her dress is on inside out, but it's about picking your battles people. At least she has clothes on!)...
